Italy proposed large-scale photovoltaic solar panel production base

Italian National Electric Power Group of green energy companies, most recently with Japan’s Sharp Corporation, STMicroelectronics, has signed an agreement intended to Sicily in the south of the country to build Italy’s largest photovoltaic solar panel Inspiron 6000 battery,Inspiron 630m battery production base.

The base plant will be built in the southern Sicilian province of Catania, the main production of medium and large solar power generating units for the “three-junction thin-film solar panels.” And ordinary compared to crystalline silicon solar panels, such panels can adapt to high-temperature working environment, and the silicon content is low, the cost of silicon raw materials less susceptible to price fluctuations.

The base of the production sector is expected to start operations in early 2011 with initial annual capacity of 160 megawatts in the next few years is expected to increase to 480 MW. Project an initial investment of 3.2 billion euros (460 million U.S. dollars), by the Italian National Electric Power Group Green Energy Co., Japan’s Sharp Corporation and STMicroelectronics formed a joint venture company overseeing the construction and operations. Under the agreement, the base products are mainly for Europe, Africa and the Middle East solar energy market in order to focus on clients in the Mediterranean region, using the Italian National Electric Power Group’s sales network in the Mediterranean to Italy more than 500 users and cares about Inspiron 6400 battery,Inspiron 640m battery quality to provided the installation of solar panels.

Solar power is divided into light and heat power generation and photovoltaic power generation, which refers to the use of photovoltaic power generation semiconductor interface of photovoltaic effect of the light energy directly into electricity, the key component is the solar cell.
