Six 32nm Clarkdale Core i5/i3 begin accepting reservations
There are a month and a half from it is officially released, the German online store HPM-Computer.de has begun to accept reservations of the dual-core processors Intel 32nm Clarkdale , including the four Core i5 and two Core i3, only lack of a low-end Pentium.
32nm Clarkdale first products are divided into three series and the seven models which are used the same LGA1156 interface as 45nm Lynnfield , in which the high-end Core i5-600 series of frequency 3.20-3.46GHz, supporting Hyper-Threading and Core-frequency acceleration, 4MB 3 level cache, in which Core i5-661 integrated graphics core frequency ups to 900MHz, thermal design power consumption is 87W, the other are 733MHz and 73W.
Core i3-500 series was cut on the support of Core-frequency acceleration, frequency is also slightly lower (2.93/3.06GHz), the other is unchanged.
The only Pentium G6950 specifications lowest frequency is only 2.80GHz, Core does not support Hyper-Threading and frequency of acceleration, 3 cache is also streamlined to 3MB, but it will still be thermal design power 73W.
The models which are now starting be booked are Core i5-670/661/660/650 and Core i3-540/530, prices from € 103.9 to € 252.9 range, but that contains 19% of the tax removed, only slightly higher than the official price.
