Palm officially released webOS 1.3.1

Smart phone operating system, Palm webOS today released the latest 1.3.1 version, the update did not release new applications, it only upgraded and changed the previous version of the application functionality to resolve several security issues.
The main features include: backup feature now supports backup browser cookie, calendar, contacts, and Yahoo instant messaging and related services can now be synchronized, wide-screen video can be in the default widescreen mode to normal displays. According to foreign media reports,  yesterday by the stimulus of Nokia’s takeover rumors , Palm shares had surged as much as 8.3%, Palm webOS as a very modern operating system,  facing the competitive edge of iPhone, Blackberry, and Android . Some analysts believe that Nokia wants to buy Palm in order to seek a breakthrough in the U.S. market, while Palm also needs to have better development of a larger company as a backing.
